Eire’s Wheat ijleld The Minister for Agriculture, Mr James Ryan, broadcasting In Dublin, said that Eire jproduced the largest wheat yield tsince 1846. Other cereals and root crops were also a record. The wheat yield was not enough for a /year’s bread, plus surplus seed for next season.
