ROXBURGH TOURNAMENT
OPENING DAY’S RESULTS
The annual • golf tournament conducted at Roxburgh was commenced in-ideal weather yesterday, when the. first round of the Women’s Senior and Junior Championships were played, and bogey and medal matches were decided. Record entries were received for the women’s events, over 60 players taking part. Visitors were present from as far north as Manawatu, and as far south as Gore and Lumsden, and several good cards were handed in.
