BERLIN BOMBED AGAIN CASUALTIES ADMITTED (Rec. 1 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 13. R.A.F. bombers last night attacked Berlin and other objectives in north-west Germany. A Berlin communique reports the R.A.F. raided western, central and north-western Germany last night and dropped “ a small number ” of high-explosive bombs, some of which fell on dwellings in the suburbs oL Berlin and caused-a few dead and wounded. Ten raiders were shot down. BRITISH AIR ACTIVITY WIDESPREAD ATTACKS LONDON, Aug. 13. The most spectacular daylight offensive yet carried out by the R.A.F. was followed last night by intensive and widespread bombing of industrial and other military targets. Berlin headed the list of objectives, but targets at Essen, Magdeburg, and Hanover also received a heavy weight of high explosives and incendiaries. Smaller forces attacked Cologne, Kiel, Bremen, Stettin and Osnabruck. ENEMY AIRCRAFT ONLY LIGHT RAIDS LONDON, Aug. 13. There was small-scale enemy activity over Britain last night, states a communique. Bombs were dropped at a number of points in the Midlands and the east of England, but there, was little damage, and the casualties were very small.
