SOUTH DUNEDIN SING

It was a combined Bay View road and Irish Day at the Seuth Dunedin sing in the Mayfair Theatre yesterday, and the contributions for the day totalled the very satisfactory sum of approximately £3O. The assisting performers were Mr Archie Jones, who sang “In the Garden Where the Praties Grow.” “ We’re a* Scottish Here.” and “A Cartload o’ Hay." Miss Hargreaves, whose contributions were “Smilin' Thru’” and Irish Eyes”: and Mr G. Bennett, who provided a novelty turn by playing the accordion and the mouth organ at the same time.
