OFFER CLOSES TO-MORROW advice to investors (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 12 Reviewing the loan conversion operations to-day. the Minister of Finance. Mr W. Nash, said the Governments offer of conversion to the holders of securities maturing on July 15 an “ November 15 of this year and on March 15 1943, would close on Saturday. Holders who have not yet taken any steps to complete their forms should do so immediately. ~ The Minister said that the applications for conversion received to date totalJgAi,£3l7.o34,ooo. while the requests •for repayment.. amounted to , only £240,000: , This was most satisfactory; but he expressed concern lest some neople were under the impression that their securities would be converted automatically. This was not so. The choice lay entirely with the investor and in the event of either conversion nr repayment the choice should be indicated by completing the - appropriate form. - -U ■ "''
