BRIEF SESSION

HOUSE TO MEET TO-DAY BUDGET EARLY IN JULY (Special.) WELLINGTON, June 9. 5 ' After being in recess since the end of March, the House of Representatives will meet to-morrow afternoon .for a brief session. It is expected that the business will be completed without difficulty this week, and the intention is that the House should then adjourn till early in' July, when the Minister of Finance. Mr W. Nash, hopes to be able to present the Budget. Formal business. and ' tributes to legislators who have died since the House was last in session will be taken to-morrow afternoon. The House will then adjourn till the evening when it will meet in secret session to hear and discuss , the latest developments in connection with the war, including the campaigns in Greece and Crete; While it is likely that the secret session will be completed at one sitting, there is no wish to curtail discussion, and if necessary the meeting could be continued bn the following day. If, however. this debate should be concluded to-morrow night, the Imprest Supply Bill will be taken on Wednesday. Before the sitting of the House tomorrow the Parliamentary Labour Party will meet in caucus.
