STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS Forecast For Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ..nsuing 24 hours,, was issued at 5 p.m yesteSda'y by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Northerly winds, becoming strong In exposed positions. Weather cloudy, with some scattered light rain extending from the west. Temperatures milder Seas moderate. Further Outlook.—Unsettled. Dominion Forecast.— Cloudy to overcast generally, with drizzle and rain developing in western and northern districts and extending later to scattered parts of eastern districts also. Temperatures milder. Weather In Dunedin.— The weather in Dunedin yesterday was fine, after the heaviest frost of the year, and there was some sunshine. Temperatures were low under the influence of an extremely cold northerly wind, the maximum being 47 degrees. Barometric pressure fell steadily during the day from 29.85 inches (1011 millibars) to 29.65 inches (1004 millibars) at midnight.
