FIGHTING IN CHINA
A JAPANESE CLAIM SHANSI CAMPAIGN CONCLUDED TOKIO, June 5. The Japanese newspapers claim that in concluding the campaign in Shansi province the Japanese forces scored the greatest victory in the history. of the world's battles. The Japanese -inflicted 200,000 casualties. Fifty thousand Chinese dead were left on the battlefields.
