ANZAC DAY

FUTURE OBSERVANCE UNDER REVIEW (P.A.) . WELLINGTON. May 29. The future observance of An/.ac Day as a national commemoration day was discussed by the New Zealand R.S.A. conference to-day. It was stated that the subject had been placed before the Returned Sailors and Soldiers' Imperial League of Australia, and the conference decided that when the league replied the text of the reply should be sent to all local associations, who could discuss the proposal before the next annual conference. The incoming executive of the R.S.A. will consider this year the position regarding the admission to membership of men in the armed services of the present war who do not ceed overseas.
