AIRCRAFT MISSING
A CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT SEARCH PROVES RESULTLESS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 29. Air headquarters announced to-night that a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft and its occupant, Leading Aircraftman Selwyn Allan Sinclair, were missing. Aircraftman Sinclair was on a crosscountry flight from Blenheim to Stephens Island and Otaki and back to Blenheim. He was due back at Blenheim at 11.15 a.m. to-day. but failed to arrive. . ' A number of aircraft went out to search, and they returned at dusk without result.
