AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION
AMERICA'S PROGRAMME TREMENDOUS EXPANSION (Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 28. President Roosevelt asked Congress for 2,790,000.000 Hollars for army planes, and 529,000,000 dollars for naval planes, reflecting an imminent tremendous expansion of aircraft production. It is understood that tha army requested several thousand heavy bombers.
