MONEY DEVALUATION
PRESIDENT’S AUTHORITY EXTENSION OF PERIOD WASHINGTON, (Rec. 9 p.m.) May 13. The Congressional Coinage Committee approved the extension of Mr Roosevelt’s money devaluation authority, which will be expiring on June 30, for two years, amending the maximum price for purchasing foreign gold to 35, dollars an ounce.
