Indications of the spirit of the British working people in the face of ruthless Nazi aggression have been given in shipments of goods received at Hastings recently. “Britain delivers the goods” was stencilled in large letters on rolls of linoleum delivered last week to a furniture dealer, while a message of more personal nature was enclosed in one of the rolls. “Chins up, New Zealand: we know you are with us.” was written in chalk on a piece of paper.
