PRODUCTION FACILITIES PEAK NOT YET REACHED (Rec. 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 12. The economist Mr J. M. Keynes told the press that combined United States and British production facilities were incomparably stronger than the Axis, which had been at the peak of production for some time, whereas the democracies were just approaching their full stride. He said that Italy had been a serious drain on Germany.

Referring to the potentialities of Britain and the United States, Mr Keynes said that when both these countries reached their peaks they would be invincible.
