THE SALE OF A RADIO STATION

TO THE EDITOR Sir, —I wish to correct a misapprehension liable to arise from Mr W. G. Kindley’s letter of May 9, in which he said that, if he remembered rightly, I sold my broadcasting station to the Government at substantially more than the Government’s valuation. The fact is that the final sale price was exactly the amount of the Government’s valuation. Mr Kindley has since seen me and expressed his regret and apology for what was a quite unintentional error on his part. I gladly accept his apology, and shall be obliged if you will publish this explanation.—l am, etc., R. Walls. Dunedin, May 11.
