Ratepayers: STOP ANOTHER BUMP UP IN RATES By putting in a Labour Mayor and a Labour Council on Saturday. And don't forget that increased rates mean increased rents. Last year the general rate was 2/2. If the " Citizens' " Council goes back the rata will be still further bumped up. It will be 2/3. Put Labour in and YOUR RATES will be REDUCED to 2/1. Why pay more and get no more? PUT A STOP TO THIS RIDICULOUS RATE BUMPING. It's not too late—you'll have YOUR say at the polls on Saturday. You can't dodge the issue—you either vote for REDUCED RATES by voting Labour or vote the other way, and throw your vote away. VOTE for Dr. d. g.
