BRITISH DOCKERS
NEW SYSTEM INTRODUCED GUARANTEED MINIMUM WAGE (Rec. 1.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 12. The work of loading and unloading ships at British ports has been greatly accelerated by the introduction of a new system. One feature of the system is that dockers have been placed on a guaranteed minimum wage.
