ELECTION NOTICES TO THE ELECTORS OF WAITAKI -L COUNTY. Ladies and Gentlemen,— I am again offering myself as a Candidate for a seat on the Oamaru Harbour Board as a representative of the Waitaki County. During the past three years I have endeavoured to make myself conversant with Harbour affairs, and how best the port can assist the producers, farmers and the district in general. The advent of war has necessarily with normal workings, but the interests of the producers and the farming community have always been hold of the utmost importance: and, within our means. I favour maintaining the port to ensure the export of our produce to avoid heavy transport costs to other ports. The present financial policy of applying the whole of the rates to the extinction of the Board's indebtedness has my whole-hearted support, and I look forward to the day when relief in rates will bo possible. A. H. CHAPMAN, jun., Kurow. TO THE RATEPAYERS, KAKANUI -L RIDING. WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,— In again offering my services as your representative, and if I have merited your confidence in the past, and you should think fit to return me, I can assure you that I will keep a strict watch on expenditure, and will endeavour to do my utmost to reduce the rates and study the interests of all the ratepayers to the best of my ability. Yours Faithfully. SIDNEY M. TAYLOR.
