Expeditionary.Force must lodge an appeal with the Armed Forces Appeal Board within 10 days of the publication of the Gazette in which his name is included. In a case such as that "which ybu quote, however, the reservist, after entering camp, may subsequently apply to his commanding officer for leave; and if his case is supported by a medical certificate it is probable that he Would be granted leave without pay. It is possible, also, that satisfactory arrangements may be made if the reservist discussed the case with the secretary of the Armed •Forces Appeal Board.
