MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Tuesday, February 11 (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) Judgment by Default Judgment by default was given for the plaintiffs in the following undefended cases;— The Commissioner of Taxes v. Francis Henry Lee, claim £2 Os Bd, for taxes due, with costs (10s); the Commissioner of Taxes v. Andrew Frances McElrea. claim £4 Os Bd, for taxes due, with costs (11s); E. Bolwell v. J. Scott, claim £2, for goods sold, with costs (£1 6s 6d); F. R. Loughran v. H. Reid (Kokonga), claim for costs only (£1). Judgment Summons Donald Stuart, Ltd., proceeded against J. Kirkland, claiming £3 16s 6d under a judgment summons. —An order was made for the payment of half the amount within 14 days and the remainder within another 14 days, in default four days’ imprisonment.
