MIDDLE EAST CAMPAIGN ALEXANDRA MAN INCLUDED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. The following casualties among the forces with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the Middle East were announced to-night;— Corporal Francis Rex Beech, killed in action: father Mr F. J. Lance-corporal Lawrence Roderick, prisoner of war; father. Mr G. Roderick. of Richmond. Nelson. Trooper Thomas Borthwick McNeill, wounded; mother Mrs E McNeill, of Wellington. Trooper Vincent George Spain, wounded: father, the late Mr S T. Spain, of Alexandra. Acting Lance-corporal Laurence Hamilton Browne, wounded; wife. Mrs E. V. M. Browne, of Eastbourne. AIRMAN MISSING FORMER MANAWATU PILOT (Per United Press Association) .WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. It is officially announced that Pilot Officer Basil Ivan Clausen, R.N.Z.A.F., is missing as a result of an aircraft accident. His mother is Mrs M. Clausen. of Palmerston North.
