The Naval Appointments Emergency Regulation. 1941. gaaetted to-night, now gives power to the Governor-General to grant temporary commissions and warrants in the New Zealand: naval forces. Previously' there has been authority to grant temporary commissions in the Royal Naval Reserve only.
