AUCKLAND’S SANDERS CUP SUCCESS.—Auckland’s Sanders Cup entry this year, Caress (on the left), recorded a brilliant performance by winning the trophy on Its home waters in three straight races. The Otago contender, Warn pa, was also responsible for an excellent performance in finishing second to Caress, although It was almost a last-minute selection as the province’s representative.
