WOMEN OF ULSTER
ASSISTANCE IN WAR EFFORT AN AUXILIARY SERVICE " (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Jan. 13. V {Received Jan. 14, at 7 p.m.) Women's organisations in Ulster are to be mobilised for. war purposes, and a Somen's auxiliary service for civil defence is being formed under the presidency-of the Duchess of Abercorn. the: wife of the Governor. To assist with the initial arrangements, Mrs Huxley, a regional administrator in Britain, will visit Ulster next week. Financial assistance will be given by the Ulster Government and the ■ organisation will be run on the tame basis as in Britain.
