Forecast, for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Northerly to north-westerly winds prevailing, and gradually freshening; weather fair to fine. with mild to warm temperatures'. seas slight. . Tasman Sea covers New Zealand, but a depression )s approaching Tasmania from the west, weather for the most . part fair to fine, with some scattered morning fog or drizzle, however, in western areas, particularly of the South Island. Temperatures mild to warm, i -V Weather in Dunedin.—Fine, summer weather was experienced . yesterday. There was little wind and temperatures were" pleasantly warm, the maximum being 79 degrees. The barometer ■rose'to 30.35 inches (1028 millibars) . Barometer, inches and millibars: 8 a;m., 30.30 (1026): n00n,30.25 (1024); 6 p.m., 30.35. (1028); midnight, 30.35 (1028).
