WOMEN'S BASEBALL

The first women's interprovincial baseball match in New Zealand will De played to-morrow afternoon at Lower Robin Hood. A visiting team from Christchurch will play two matches—the first against Otago and the second against Technical College, Ex-Girls. The interprovincial match will be of an entirely friendly character, and the teams will not be representative, the Otago players being those available in town over the holidays, while the visitors will be players belonging to the Redcliffs Women's Baseball Club. As most of the players have only this year began to play baseball, the play in the games is not likely to be of the highest standard, but it should be interesting. The Otago team will be: I. Eckhold, N. Thomson. L. Johnstone, D. Treweek, J. Morris, N. Morris. J. Laws, H. Cranshaw. G. Toban, J. Cameron, K. Sheddan, and D. McDermott. The Technical College Ex-Girls team will be: R. Wilson, P. Fenton. O. Kerr, D. Booth, M. Adamson, M. Steven, K. Buchan, J. Jardine, I. Seecup, V. Booth, and N. McLeod, • ;
