[t was given out that Mussolini would speak at Padua recently at a parade of Italian youth, notes the Manchester Guardian. But he was silent. With his dramatic sense he saw that no rhetoric was needed. There was a brave march of youth. Spaniards, Hungarians, Rumanians, and Bulgarians followed the Italians. The Italians followed the Nazis. That spectacle was more eloquent than any speech.
