DRAUGHTS CONGRESS
CENTENNIAL TOURNAMENT (Pkb United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH Dec. 26. The New Zealand centennial draughts congress and tournament were opened in Christchurch to-day. The following officers were appointed to the New Zealand Draughts Association—Patron. Mr E. M. Gibbard (Dannevirke); president. Mr G. Duncan (Mosgiel); secretary and treasurer. Mr E. Campbell; vice-presidents-Messrs F. Hutchins. W. O'Malley, and J. R. Clark; executive—Messrs R. Weir, R D. Russell. R. C. Murray. A. Bradfield, R Ednie. M. J. McKeem. W. Tibbies, and M. Saltzman.
