FRIESLAND BEATS NOTIUM CHIEF LORD SUCCESSFUL (Per United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 26. The Taranaki Jockey Club's Christmas meeting opened to-day in fine weather, with a fast track. There was an excellent attendance, and the totalisator handled £25,095, compared with £25,653 10s for the first day last year. Results:— RAHOTU HURDLES, Of £l5O.
