THE CHAMPION STAKES SPECIAL FORCE SUCCESSFUL CUP TO PETER SMITH (Per United Press Association) ASHBURTON, Dec. 26. A record gate and totalisator figures, which were only £9 short of the record, were features of the Ashburton Trotting Club's summer meeting to-day.
