EXPORTS FROM AMERICA SUBJECT TO LICENCE CONTROL WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 (Received Dec. 5, at 11 p.m.)

The Export Control Administrator, Mr Russell Maxwell, announced that 41 types of machine tools hitherto exempted would in future be subjected to export licence control because of the increased pace of the defence programme. He emphasised that this does not imply an embargo.
