WAR EXPENDITURE
BRITAIN'S NEW RECORD THIRTEEN MILLION A DAY (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Dec. 4. Last night's Exchequer returns revealed that Britain's war expenditure touched a new record in the week ended Saturday last of £90,133,950, representing a daily expenditure of about £13.000,000.
