TEMPORARY PROMOTIONS 'Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 7, Colonel F. T. Bowerbank, Directorgeneral of Medcial Services. Army Headquarters, has been granted the temporary rank of brigadier while holding his present appointment. A notice to this effect was gazetted tonight. Lieutenant-colonel I. S. Wilson, as-sistant-director of medical services, Army Headquarters, is granted the temporary rank of colonel, and Lieu-tenant-colonel B. S. Finn, Director of Dental Services, Army Headquarters, is granted the temporary rank of colonel while holding his present appointment. On the New Zealand Staff Corps, Colonel E. Puttick is granted the temporary rank of brigadier, and Colonel R. Miles, of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, is also granted the temporary rank og brigadier. Major I. R. Withell, New Zealand Army Ordnance Corps, has been appointed chief inspector of munitions, in addition to his appointment as inspecting ordnance officer.
