GERMAN LINERS
SOLD TO ARGENTINE, COMPANY USE DURING WAR PROHIBITED BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 18. (Received Oct. 18, at 7.30 p.m.) The German liners Lahn and Tolia Nienberg have been sold to an Argentine combanv for the eouivalent of 1,400,000 dollars on condition that they are not used during the war A British sookesman said the ships could be sunk if they ventured outside neutral territorial waters.
