SECRET DEBATE PROBABLE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Oct. 17. (Received Oct. 18, at 7.30 p.m.) In reply to a request for a debate in secret on the air attacks on Britain Mr Churchill replied that if there was a general desire for such a debate it would lake place, but, of course, not in public. Asked if he would be likely to make a statement on the conduct of the war at the next meeting of the House Mr Churchill said he did not think it was necessary at the present time.
