LOYALTY AND EDUCATION
TO THE EDITOR Sir W.E.A. Student ” complains that I have made emotional appeals because I have written as if loyalty, to the Empire and the mutual affection of the King and his pe<?ple were facts worthy of consideration. In this. “ W E A. Student ” confirms the opinion many of us have of many such students. The only facts they regard as worthy of consideration by intellectuals are materialistic facts, as. for example, how much money or material power different people have! For them loyalty and love are meaningless effusions ol emotion! What an outlook on life for men who would lead our thought and politics!—l am. etc., J'Accuse.
