COMMUNITY SING AT MOSGIEL

The Mcsgiel Businessmen's Association conducted a community sing in aid of the local school dental clinic, the Coronation Hall being well filled for the event. Mr E. W. Cate conducted the sing, Mr E. C, Skinner was accompanist, and Mr A. McLean gave several humorous items. Contributions were made to the programme as follows: — Piano duet. Misses Merle Gibson and Averley Cheyne; recitation, Miss Valma Lobb; violin solo, Master E. Mcßryde; tap dance, Miss June Bryce: song, Miss Noeline Campbell; recitation. Miss Audrey Geary; piano duet. Misses’ Lorna Oliver and Joy Wylie; character dance, Miss June Tregilgus; recitation, Miss Betty Tunzleman; folk dancing, senior school girls; playette, “Our Children,” Misses B. Swallow, K. Fairweather, M. McDonald, W. McCunn, B. Kingan, N. Weatherall and A. O’Fee. Miss F. Hicks accompanied the performers.
