Arch Druid Bro. I, Anderson presided over a good attendance of members of Ivanhoe Lodge on Wednesday night. Included in the correspondence were letters from the grand secretary relating to the circular received from the Social Security Department. The lodge decided that in the meantime payments were not to be made on behalf of the department ufitil further information was received. The Royal Arch Chapter was granted its request to hold the opening and closing ceremony competition in the lodge room on November 13, the lodge at the same time decided to enter a team. The Bards tendered a comprehensive report on the sick and injured brethren. At the conclusion of the business the lodge was adjourned and the Ivanhoe Cricket Club meeting was held. The following officers were elected: — Patron. Grand President Bro. A. R. Rankin: President, Bro. H. Brockie: vice-presidents, the board of management: general committee—Bro. I. Anderson, match committee, and Bro. 11. Brockie, C. Wilson and I. Anderson; secretary and treasurer, Bro. C. Wilson.
