PRIVATE MOTORISTS

INCREASED RATION FOR NOVEMBER (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The Oil Fuel Controller (Mr G. L. Laurenson) announced tonight that petrol coupons Nos. 10 and 11 would be available for use during October. The Minister of Supply (Mr D. G. Sullivan) said he expected that by the end of October the reserves of petrol would have reached an amount that would permit of an increase in the allowance to private cars. An increase would be granted for November.
