LATEST CASUALTY LIST (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. The following casualties have been officially announced. Sergeant Alfred Frederick Blatch, R.N.Z.A.F.. missing in air operations. His brother is Mr J. H. A. Blatch. Lynwood street. Lumsden. Sergeant John Stephen Lane. R.N.Z.A.F.. seriously injured in a flying accident and admitted to hospital. His wife is Mrs K. S. Lane. 45 Hohinea road. Hataitai. Wellington. Pilot-officer Eric Orgias. killed in air operations. His father is Mr A. E. Orgias. Pohangina. Palmerston North. INTERNED IN SWEDEN _____ "*»»* NEW ZEALAND AIRMAN (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Sept. 28. It is officially announced that Lead-ing-airman Bruce Rennie Laing has been interned in Sweden. His mother is Mrs Martha Laing, of 30 Pah road, Auckland. SQUADRON LEADER'S DEATH Advice has been received of the death at Aden of Squadron-leader Alan C. Mitchell, R.A.F.. while in hospital under treatment for peritonitis. He was the eldest son of the late. Colonel George Mitchell. He joined the R.A.F. in 1926. serving for some years in Egypt and Iraq, and afterwards at several stations in the British Isles. Two years ago he was transferred to headquarters in Aden.. He leaves a wife and infant daughter, who are in Bombay. His wife will return to her parents, who are residents .of Island Bay.
