A cow entered a Stratford boardinghouse by the front door, ambled down two corridors, startled boarders from their slumber, and then became jammed in a narrow passageway. The passage where the cow was found by the drover was too narrow to allow the animal to turn, so it had to go backward into a nearby room before it could be driven out.
