STRUCK BY FALLING TREE

BUSHMAN KILLED INSTANTLY (Per United Press Association) HOKITIKA, Aug. 8. Victor Flower, a leading bushman engaged in Malfroy and Co.'s bush at the Kawhaka mill, was killed instantly yesterday afternoon when he was struck by a falling tree. The deceased was a single man, aged about 34 years. No one witnessed the accident.
