(Received July 11, at 7 p.m.> The Home Secretary, Sir John Anderson, made an order applying regulation 18A of the Defence Regulations to the British Union, commonly known as the British Union of Fascists. As a consequence of the order it is now an offence to summon a meeting of members or managers of the British Union or to attend any such meeting or publish any notice or advertisement relating to any such meeting, or invite persons to support such organisation or make any contribution or loan to its funds.
