Motf-ier Cecilia, head of the Order of Sisters of Com-, passion, said it \*as intendeil-to extend the foundations of the crde; to Broken Hill next year and to I; risbane in 1942. This is the first t ccasion on which a foundation has be ;ri made of an order originating in Nei v Zealand. The order was established |k>y the late Rev. Mother Mary Joseph] Aubert at Jerusalem, Wanganui at the request of Archbishcp in 1883, and has been carried on tlpre to the present day. • ( ■ "Many members of the| hierarchy who visited Wellington in ijcbnnection with the Eucharistic Congress in February were interested in tha- work we are doing for the poor and offering," said the Rev.
