MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Otago Land Board was held yesterday, and was attended by Messrs W. E. Shaw (chairman), C. J. Inder, G. W. Stuart, D. J. Ross, J. S. Adams. Renewal of Perpetual Lease Question of the renewal of the lease held by R. B. Mason over section 67, block I, Warepa S.D. (26a lr 04p).— Lessee to be offered a renewal of bis lease for a term of 21 years from July 1 1943 • J Renewal of lease held by R. B. Mason over section 69, block I, Warepa S.D. (49a lr 18p).—Lessee to be offered a renewal of his lease for a term of 21 years from July 1, 1943. Renewal of lease held by Mary Birkner over section 66, block I, Warepa S.D. (22a 2r 32p).—Lessee to be offered a renewal lease for a term of 21 years from July 1,1943. Renewal of lease held by H. Robinson over section 61, block I, Warepa S.D. (48a 2r 62p).—Lessee to be offered a renewal of his lease for a term of 21 years from July 1, 1943. Application for Land The board considered the question of granting A. J. Cunningham a yearrtoyear right to occupy sections 1-18 and 20, block XLVIII. Town of Molyneux (4a 3r 00p).—Year-to-year right to occupy granted as from July 1, 1940. Cancellation of Licences A question of the cancellation of the miscellaneous licences held by E. Saunders over the area on the right bank of the Arrow River, near its junction with the Kawavau, and the area between sections 68, 70, and 77. block VIII, Shotover, and also the quarry reserve adjoining section 78, block VIII, Shotover, and gravel reserve through section 76, block Vlll,,Shotover, area 74 acres. —Licences to be cancelled as from June 12, 1940. • A question of the cancellation of the miscellaneous licence held by C E. McNamara over part mining reserve in block VI, Maniototo S.D., area 10a 2r 15p.—Licence to be determined as at July 1, 1940. Exchange of Tenure The Public Trustee in the estate of Antonio Resta to exchange the mining district land occupation lease of section 2, block IV. Kawarau S.D., area 100 acres, to a renewable lease.— Granted as from January 1, 1941. Transfers Section 2a, Airedale settlement (173 a 3r 13p)—Thomas Portis to Richard A. J. Portis and Sydney A. L. Portis, iiv equal shares.—Approved.
