HIT-AND-RUN CASE
CYCLIST STRUCK BY CAR DEATH FROM INJURIES <Peb United Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 8. Knocked down by a hit-and-run motorist on the Great North road tonight. a cyclist died from injuries a few minutes after the accident The victim was Norman Herbert fork, aged 35. married, a gardener, of New Lynn. York was riding towards the city with a companion, and near the Whau bridge was struck by a motor car travelling at a high speed. He suffered severe injuries. The car did not slop. The police are searching far the motorist.
