CENTENARIAN’S DEATH
MAORI WOMAN AGED 105 (Per United Press Association) HAMILTON, July 8. Believed to be 105 years of age, a Maori woman died at Tehoe 10-day after living in the district all her life. She was Mrs Kai Naha Toto, one of the most respected Maoris in the Waikato. The deceased was a young girl when Potatau was proclaimed the first Maori king in 1840.
