“SPRING MEETING”

The Dunedin Repertory Society has assembled a good cast for its forthcoming production at His Majesty’s Theatre —“ Spring Meeting.” This delightful Irish comedy affords considerable scope to Mrs John Hamer as the eccentric Miss Bijou and to Mrs A. C. Stephens as Tiny Fox-Collier, a former but by no means extinguished flame of Sir Richard Furze, played by Mr L. Jack. Others prominent in the cast are Mrs M. Faulks and Miss B. Rhodes and Messrs R. Watson and J. Hayward. Mr D. Skene has some good comedy as Johnny, whose attempt to combine window-cleaning with eavesdropping ends in disaster. James the butler, subtly directs the family affairs, and to this part Mr Frank Lanyon brings his flair for quiet comedy. The play will be produced by Miss Bessie Thomson and will be opened
