ARBITRATION COURT
The Arbitration Court yesterday concluded its sitting in Dunedin, when i it heard a case cited for its opinion 1 by Mr H. J. Dixon, S.M., between the f inspector of awards and the Crom- s well Borough Council. The case con- 1 cerned rn employee of the council en- • gaged under the New Zealand local ( bodies’ drivers’ award, who. it was 1 alleged, was entitled to certain over- t lima pay for special duties. Mr C. H. t Hoskin represented the Labour De- t partmant, and Mr J. B. Thomson i appeared for the Cromwell Borough t Council. Decision wrs reserved.
