TRADE WITH NEUTRALS

BRITISH EXPORT LICENCES IBritish Official Wireless) RUGBY, June 13. The Export Control Order made by the Board of Trade to-day prohibits the export, except under licence, of all classes of goods to Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Lichtenstein, Rumania, Switzerland, Jugoslavia, and the Black Sea ports of Soviet Russia. It is pointed out that this step has been rendered necessary by -Italy’s entry into the war in order to enable a proper control to be exercised over exports to the Mediterranean and adjacent areas. The Board of Trade emphasises that the order is not to be regarded in any sense as a decision to discontinue trade with neutral countries in those areas.
